Our Business

Porter Kennels has been training, hunting, guiding and testing German Shorthairs, Weimaraners and English Pointers for over 20 years. This is the first time we have offered our dogs at stud. We feel both Brody and Whip are the best of the best.  We have confirmed our dogs abilities by testing them  in NAVHDA and AKC hunt tests. Brody and Whip are also used for guided pheasant and chukar hunts in Southeast Michigan. Our dogs are extremely calm and make great pets along with hunting partners. If you're tired of having a high strung hunting dog around your house, you need to breed to our light switch dogs. Brody and Whip are calm around the house and hunting machines in the field and woods. We would be happy to provide references of customers who have hunted over them at the Preserve.
